Dustin Littrel to serve as SacCounty's Design Review Administrator

May 21, 2021 – Sacramento County's Office of Planning and Environmental Review has hired Dustin Littrell as its Design Review Administrator.

Mr. Littrell brings with him nearly 20 years of experience in design and architecture. He has worked with numerous architectural firms throughout Sacramento and developed his own successful design studio locally. Mr. Littrell holds a B.A. in Architecture from Kansas State University, and has been a licensed architect in California since 2011. He is a member of the Central Valley chapter of the American Institute of Architects. 

Mr. Littrell served as a ​board member on the Oak Park Neighborhood Association and was a committee member for the Land Use Planning Committee. Additionally, he served on the Redevelopment Advisory Committee for the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency.

Prior to joining Sacramento County, Mr. Littrell taught interior architecture at California State University, Sacramento for the past two years. “We are excited for Dustin to join the Office of Planning and Environmental Review on a full time basis. Dustin's private sector experience and commitment to the community will enhance our capacity to assist applicants in meeting design program requirements," said Sacramento County Planning Director Leighann Moffitt.
